A design for an artist’s studio that became about how we
can design and build collaboratively with locals and
stakeholders. A project that goes from a prescriptive design
to an outline of community celebration and construction,
over a developed timescale and project phases. Using local
materials and existing structures to maximize local impact
and minimize climate impact.
